Azerbaijan again bombards Artsakh capital after Geneva commitment not to target civilian settlements
The Azerbaijani military carried out renewed strikes on the Artsakh capital city of Stepanakert and other districts on Saturday morning, shortly after committing not to deliberately target civilian settlements or non-military objects in Geneva.
The Artsakh State Service of Emergency Stations said that explosions were heard in the city at 7:08am, with an air raid siren going off immediately.
The Azerbaijani forces targeted the central market of Stepanakert, causing heavy damages to the civilians and partly destroying the public infrastructure.
“Another strike fully destroyed a residential house. The nearby houses were also partly damaged. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties,” the service said.
