Henrikh Mkhitaryan: Armenians of Artsakh want peace
Armenian national football team captain and Roma AS midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan took to social media to raise his voice again in support of Artsakh recognition and calling for an end of the aggressive war unleashed against Armenians.
"In light of the increased escalation of the conflict, as well as the continued targeting of innocent Armenian civilians and threat to their physical annihilation, we call on the international community to recognize the independence of the Republic of Artsakh and its right for self-determination," Mkhitaryan wrote on Facebook along with #ArtsakhStrong #ArmeniaStrong #PeaceForArmenians hashtags.
