Azerbaijan targets fire engine in Artsakh’s Askeran
Azerbaijani-Turkish forces continue to target not only peaceful settlements and residents, but also, once again, the State Service of Emergency Situations of Artsakh, the service said.
The fire engine of the Askeran regional emergency department came under Azerbaijani drone attack on Sunday.
Rescue workers were on a humanitarian mission of delivering drinking water to civilians in the area.
The vehicle caught fire after being hit by a rocket fired by a combat UAV.
Fortunately, the staff was not injured, the emergency service said.
Rescuers carrying out humanitarian mission have been repeatedly targeted by Azerbaijan since the start of the war.
