Azerbaijan carries out fresh strikes on civilian settlements of Artsakh – emergency service
The Azerbaijani military carried out renewed strikes on civilian settlements of Artsakh on Sunday, November 1, the State Service of Emergency Situations said in a statement.
“Azerbaijan has continued to fire on civilian settlements today. The town of Martuni and its neighboring villages were subjected to aerial bombing,” the service said.
No casualties were reported in the areas, with the physical damage under assessment.
“At noon, the Azerbaijani forces carried out missile attacks on Shushi, mainly from Grad and Smerch launchers. Many structures in the town were ruined, including partial damage to the Persian Gohar Agha mosque.
“The military aviation was also used in an attack on Martakert. That town was once again bombed, although there were no civilian casualties in the attack. Explosions were heard in Stepanakert as well, with no casualties. The air raid siren went off 7 times in the capital city alone,” the statement read.
