Artsakh president reacts to Lavrov's statement, says more than half of the terrorists destroyed in Karabakh
Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan took to Facebook to comment on Russian FM Sergey Lavrov's statement that the number of mercenaries sent to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone is approaching 2,000.
"Mr. Lavrov, I want to assure that in the course of our antiterrorist struggle, we have managed to destroy more than half of those terrorists (killed or wounded) and set to continue a decisive struggle to eliminate those still alive.
Harutyunyan added that during the fights, terrorist groups are pushed to the forefront of the attack and their movement is controlled by the Azeri troops behind tasked to kill them in case of retreat.
"This is our last war, and we will fight till the end,” wrote Harutyunyan.
A postscript added to the president's message said that the information is worth to be shared among Syrian social media users, as the relatives of terrorists fighting against the peaceful population of Artsakh should know the truth.
