Artsakh Defense Army throws back Azeri forces by precision strikes in southern direction
The Artsakh forces conducted defensive battles in the eastern, southeastern, and southern directions overnight November 2-3.
In those sectors, the Defense Army detected and destroyed with accurate fire Azerbaijani soft-skinned vehicles, manpower and one main battle tank, the Artsakh military said in a statement on Tuesday.
“The Defense Army units pulled back from certain small sections of the frontline in the eastern direction for tactical considerations and occupied more favorable lines for follow-up operations.
“In the morning, the Defense Army delivered precision strikes on the adversary’s equipment and manpower attempting an advance – inflicting losses and throwing them back to forming-up positions,” the military said.
Also, the Artsakh army units suppressed the enemy poised for an attack in the northern direction. “At this moment, the enemy troops continue attempts to shift the tactical advantage to its favor. The Defense Army controls the operational and tactical situation,” the statement said.
