Children from Artsakh toured Yerevan metro stations, attended a puppet show
A group of children from Artsakh who were displaced by war in Nagorno-Karabakh and found a refuge in Yerevan, visited today the head office of Yerevan Metro. The visit was organised in cooperation with the Yerevan Metro, State Puppet Theatre and Safian company. As part of the visit programme, the artists of the theatre staged a lovely performance for the kids. After the show, the children got familiarized with the launch and history of the Yerevan Metro, then toured several metro stations.
At the end of the tour, the children wrote letters to their brothers, fathers and other relatives currently on the frontline and posted them through an installed letterbox at Republic Square Station to be delivered to their loved ones in Artsakh.
As the Metro press service reported, the children were impressed both by the tour and the performance. Their fondest dream still remains the peace and the opportunity to return home.
