A family of three killed in latest Azeri bombardment of Stepanakert
A two-story private house in one of residential areas in Artsakh capital Stepanakert totally collapsed as a result of Azerbaijani artillery strikes overnight, on November 5. During the shelling, three residents of the house were killed. As Artsakh Public TV Channel reports, the victims of the shelling were a family of three - two brothers and their grandmother.
As the head of the local Rescue Service department said, the enemy hit the central part of the residential district which posed no military threat, and no military objects are located nearby. In his words, this circumstance comes to prove that the shelling was targeted at peaceful population.
To remind, the Artsakh State Service ice for Emergency situations earlier reported, that Stepanakert repeatedly came under Azerbaijani strikes overnight and at dawn. A rocket landed on a house in Stepanakert, killing three civilians, the service said.Thanks to search and rescue operations by the Artsakh Rescue Service, their bodies were recovered from the ruins. Other houses in the area were partially damaged.
