Ambassador: French surgeons to arrive in Armenia on humanitarian mission
In response to the statement of the Armenian authorities on the humanitarian needs in the light of the fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh, France will provide emergency medical assistance to the Armenian Ministry of Health, Ambassador of France to Armenia Jonathan Lacote said on Facebook on Saturday.
The ambassador said that a group of surgeons specializing in orthopedic and rehabilitation medicine will arrive in Armenia from France. Also, medical equipment and medicine will be delivered to the country.
“That support shows the solidarity of France with the victims of the conflict. This is part of the assistance rendered by many French local authorities," Lacote wrote.
