Artsakh reports intense fighting in Shushi-Karin Tak section overnight
On the night of November 6-7, hostilities continued in all major directions of the frontline, the Artsakh Defense Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
“Especially persistent and intense battles took place in the area of Shushi-Karin Tak. The army units successfully thwarted numerous attempts of attack by the enemy and destroyed a large number of personnel,” the ministry said.
Particularly successful were the artillery units of the Artsakh Defense Army. The operational and tactical situation in all directions of the frontline remained changed.
“Unchanged was also the tactic of the enemy forces to bombard the civilian settlements of the republic with missile and artillery systems. In the southeastern and southern directions, the Artsakh forces destroyed 2 soft-skinned vehicle transporting the enemy personnel, as well as 4 UAVs.
“The hostile attempts for attack continue in the main directions of the frontline. The Defense Army units are taking necessary countermeasures for thwarting the attack, detecting the enemy groups and destroying them with fire engagement,” the statement read.
