In recent days, Azerbaijan has concentrated its main efforts in the direction of Shushi. During this time there were persistent battles, the units of the Defense Army resolutely defended and continue to defend the fortress town of Shushi, Artsakh Defense Army official, Colonel Suren Sarumyan told a briefing on Monday.

During the day, the adversary launched renewed attacks in the direction of Shushi. The Azeri groups were detected and destroyed, suffering heavy losses.

“The adversary has taken military actions in other directions of the frontline as well. Our troops have taken more favorable starting lines in some parts,” Sarumyan said.

During the day, 1 tank, 4 vehicles and 8 UAVs belonging to the Azerbaijani military were destroyed in different directions, he said.

Hostilities in the direction of Shushi are ongoing, the military official said.

“The morale of our troops is high. The operational and tactical situation is under the control of the Defense Army units. Believe me, we shall win!” he concluded.
