Ombudsman: Over 70% of Artsakh's population displaced from their homes amid Azerbaijani aggression
More than 70% of Artsakh's population have been displaced from their homes due to the Azerbaijani aggression, Artsakh Human Rights Ombudsman Artak Beglaryan said in a tweet on Monday.
“As a result of the Azerbaijan aggression and deliberate/indiscriminate targeting of civilian objects, over 100,000 civilians have been displaced from their homes, over 70% of the whole population of Artsakh/Karabakh,” he tweeted.
“A part of them are in the republic, the other part – in Armenia,” the ombudsman said.
