Russian helicopter crashes, bursts into flames in Armenia’s Ararat
A Russian helicopter crashed and burst into flames in Armenia’s Ararat Province, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on Monday.
The ministry said it received a report on the crash from Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center at 6:39pm today.
The Russian helicopter crashed in a gorge between the villages of Yeraskh and Paruyr Syak.
Three fire and rescue squads were dispatched to the scene.
A source told Sputnik Armenia that the helicopter was supposedly hit from Azerbaijan’s Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic.
