Artur Vanetsyan released from custody
The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction ruled to release the leader of Homeland party Artur Vanetsyan, granting the lawyers' motion challenging the legality of the detention.
Vanetsyan along with dozens of politicians was detained over violating the temporary restrictions imposed during the martial law. The development came after the opposition rally on Wednesday, when the leader of the opposition party demanded the resignation of PM Pashinyan.
The lawyers earlier said that a blatant political persecution is carried out against the opposition politician and his detention was illegal.
