42 planes carrying Russian peacekeepers have arrived in Nagorno-Karabakh
On November 13, 8 more Russian planes have taken off from the Ulyanovsk-Vostochny airfield in Russia and headed to Nagorno-Karabakh, Gazeta.ru reports, adding thus far 42 planes have arrived in the region.
According to the report, the planes are carrying 100 peacekeepers, materiel and 10 armored personnel carriers.
The Russian Defense Ministry earlier announced that a total of 1,960 peacekeepers, 90 armored personnel carriers and 380 vehicles and pieces of special equipment would be sent to Nagorno-Karabakh as envisaged by the Karabakh armistice singed on November 9.
