ARF member Artsvik Minasyan released
The Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF, Dashnaktsutyu) member Artsvik Minasyan was released from custody as the Yerevan court found the measure of restraint imposed on him unreasonable, his lawyer, human rights activist Ruben Melikyan said on Friday.
“The court found the arrest of Artsvik Minasyan, who was deprived of liberty for being a dignified Armenian, illegal," Melikyan wrote on Facebook.
"Surprising as it may seem, it was my first case of arrest,” the lawyer added.
Artsvik Minasyan was arrested on 11 November for holding an unlawful rally in Yerevan in violation of the restrictions imposed during the martial law.
