475 refugees returned to Stepanakert
The second convoy of buses with refugees arrived in Stepanakert, accompanied by Russian peacekeepers, according to the website of the Ministry of Defense on Monday, November 16, Tass news agency reported.
In total, 475 people returned to Stepanakert in a convoy of 19 buses.
“The convoy proceeded along the Yerevan-Stepanakert route, accompanied by patrols of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and military police and arrived at the main square of Stepanakert,” it was reported.
The department noted that the Russian military ensured the safe movement of buses across the contact line.
On November 15, Russian peacekeepers deployed all observation posts in the southern and northern zones of responsibility in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
On the same day, two Russian An-124 planes delivered armored vehicles and personnel of the peacekeeping units from Ulyanovsk to Yerevan.
