Artsakh ombudsman confirms reports of capture of 4 civilians
For the past two days, some reports emerged that four civilians of Artsakh were captured near the Stepanakert-Martuni area after the signing of a "capitulation" agreement by Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan on October 10 and the deployment of Russian peacekeepers in Artsakh.
While videos and photos shared by Azerbaijanis go viral on the internet, there is no official announcement yet.
Panorama.am reached the Artsakh Human Rights Defender’s (Ombudsman) Office for comments on the reports.
"Yes, we are aware of the incident. We are working to ensure the security and freedom of the captured citizens," a source from the Ombudsman’s Office said.
