Opposition MP: We should stand in Nikol Pashinyan’s way before he wreaks further havoc
Prosperous Armenia Opposition faction MP Naira Zohrabyan insisted on the removal of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan from office to prevent him from “causing new destructions”.
Addressing lawmakers on Tuesday, Zohrabyan stated the parliament session should focus only on the issues of lifting the martial law in the country and the premier’s resignation.
“We have no moral right to discuss any other issue in this hall... Now we have a historic mission to stand in Nikol Pashinyan's way after the signing of that disgraceful capitulation agreement, until he manages to wreak further havoc,” the MP stated.
She stressed the need to eliminate the provisions of the Russia-brokered ceasefire agreement concerning Armenia’s territory which pose threats to the country’s security and to save the areas in Artsakh which are possible to be saved.
Zohrabyan also denounced Pashinyan’s call for vengeance on 10 November, adding they have repeatedly stated that a civil war cannot be allowed to happen in the country.
“Now we have no alternative, one issue will be discussed on this floor, that of Nikol Pashinyan's resignation, and nothing else,” the MP said.
