Finance minister forecasts 3.2% economic growth for 2021 in Armenia
The economic growth rate for Armenia in 2021 is expected to drop to 3.2%, according to current estimations, the Finance Minister Atom Janjughazyan stated on Tuesday, presenting at parliament the draft law of the RA State Budget for 2021.
As the minister informed, the GDP and the indices of tax revenues will be reevaluated as well as the deficit in case the budget expenditure remains unchanged.
To note, the government earlier announced that despite the coronavirus pandemic and the war in Nagorno-Karabakh the economy was expected to grow by 4.8% in 2021.
