CSTO member states expand cooperation to prevent the infiltration of foreign terrorist fighters - Patrushev
The secretaries of the security councils of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) spoke in favor of expanding cooperation to prevent the infiltration of foreign terrorist fighters into their territory, including by improving the efficiency of interaction between competent authorities and improving mechanisms for exchange of relevant information, the Secretary of Russia's Security Council Nikolai Patrushev stated.
In his words, during the meeting held via videoconferencing on November 17, the secretaries of the security councils of the CSTO member states exchanged thoughts on challenges and threats posed to the CSTO and measures to neutralize them.
"We have indicated further steps to jointly combat the spread of terrorism and extremism," Patrushev noted.
