France’s Macron promises to send humanitarian aid to Armenia
Emmanuel Macron promised to send humanitarian aid to Armenia as he met with representatives of the Armenian community in France.
The French president, who declared himself "Alongside Armenia" after the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), received the representatives, including Nicolas Aznavour, the Co-founder of the Aznavour Foundation, at the Élysée Palace, the foundation said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.
According to Le Figaro, France plans to send a cargo plane carrying humanitarian aid to Armenia in the next few days.
