Republican Medical Center in Artsakh resumes work
The Republican Medical Center in Artsakh’s capital city of Stepanakert resumed its work upon the establishment of the ceasefire on 10 November. Some of the hospital staff is already on site, which is enough to ensure the normal operation of the medical center.
The director of the hospital told the Artsakh Public TV that 100 people have returned to work. The medical center has around 600 employees. During the week, more employees are expected to return to work. 6 patients are already undergoing treatment at the Republican Medical Center, the head said.
The other medical facilities operating in Stepanakert are returning to normal as well. The restoration work of the medical centers in the regions are ongoing and they will start reopening to the public in the next few days.
