Armenian PM asks supporters to stop rally
Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan asked people rallying in support of him outside the government building to stop the action.
"I know that there are tens of thousands of people in Armenia who will come to the Republic Square if needed. I want to express gratitude to you. I bow before the men who have come from the frontline, I bow before all our victims and their parents,” he said after coming out to meet with his supporters.
“You can stand here for a while and talk to each other, but please, stop the rally. I promise you I will never betray the people, I promise you when there is a necessity, I will invite all of you to the square,” the premier said.
