Car drives through group of protesters demanding Nikol Pashinyan's resignation in Yerevan
A group of people demanding Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's resignation are holding a protest in Yerevan, Armenia’s capital.
Young members of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF, Dashnaktsutyu) have blocked traffic on Amiryan Street in downtown Yerevan, chanting "Nikol, leave".
In parallel with the chants of the activists, the signals of the cars can be heard. Some of them have ended up in a dead end, while others manage to make a turn.
"Dear citizens, this is a call to everyone, join us and rebel. Nikol Pashinyan must leave with his treacherous plan. Nikol Pashinyan is a traitor," the protesters said.
And while the demonstrators were chanting, a car sped up and tried to pass through the blocked road. The protesters tried to keep the road closed, but the car drove through them.
