Ara Saghatelyan: The Nagorno-Karabakh agreement will bring serious consequences for the Armenian people
"I call on everyone to take to the streets and demand the resignation of Nikol Pashinyan who has taken the office illegally," former Chief of Staff of Armenia's National Assembly Ara Saghatelyan stated on Friday during a protest in Yerevan.
In Saghatelyan's words, after the resignation, an interim Government should be formed to allow specialists to improve whatever is possible in the notorious 'end to war' Karabakh document, signed on November 9.
"Every citizen should go to the street, express their own civil position, as not only the political agreement is signed but may entail grave consequences for the Republic of Armenia, the Armenian people. We will face more tragedies, including expected suits to international courts by Azerbaijani which would make Armenian people live in poverty and despair. This is the reason every citizen must raise their voice," Saghatelyan said.
Saghatelyan, along with other public figures and citizens, have blocked Baghramyan avenue in Yerevan and demanding the resignation of PM Nikol Pashinyan's who has signed the document, surrendering the Armenian territories to Azerbaijan.
