25 people detained by police amid anti-government protests in Yerevan
25 participants of the civil disobedience protests have been detained by law enforcement on Friday, Panorama.am learnt from the press department at the Police of Armenia.
The citizens have been taken to police stations suspected in the alleged offenses under Article 182 and 182.5 of the Code of Administrative Offences which is disobeying the lawful orders of police officers and violating the temporary restrictions imposed during the martial law.
To remind, dozens of protesters are protesting since morning in the capital city, block central streets and demand the resignation of PM Nikol Pashinyan who is accused of signing a 'treacherous agreement' over Nagorno-Karabakh.
