Artsakh president: Manvel Grigoryan's name will eternally remain in heroic pages of our history
Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan took to Facebook on Friday to pay tribute to former MP Manvel Grigoryan who passed away on Thursday at the age of 64.
“I have learnt with deep sorrow about the death of deputy of the Supreme Council in 1992-1996, former chairman of the Yerkrapah Volunteer Union, Hero of Artsakh Lieutenant-General Manvel Grigoryan. His contribution to the defense and formation of our state is undeniable,” the president said.
“On behalf of the people, authorities of Artsakh and myself personally I express my condolences to Manvel Grigoryan's family and comrades-in-arms, wishing them tenacity and strength of spirit.
“His name will eternally remain in the heroic pages of our history,” he added.
