Armenian FM: Recent developments brought big changes in the perception of regional stability and security
Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan received Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Saturday as part of Russia’s intergovernmental delegation visit to Yerevan. As the press service at the ministry reported, welcoming the guest, FM Ayvazyan highlighted the importance of Armenian-Russian allied relations in maintaining peace and stability in the region. In the words of the Armenian minister, recent developments brought big changes in the perception of regional security and stability.
In continuation of the recent phone conversation between the two ministers, Ayvazyan and Lavrov exchanged thoughts on issues of bilateral and regional agenda.
The Armenian, Russian ministers also attached importance to the dynamics and intensity of the existing dialogue at different levels, including through mutual visits. Minister Ayvazyan also accepted Russian FM's invitation to visit Moscow in the coming future.
