Around 2,500 residents of 8 communities in Askeran region left homeless
Eight communities in the Askeran region have come under Azerbaijani control. The issue of providing temporary accommodation to the displaced residents is in the focus of the district administration.
A video of the Artsakh Public TV states that the Askeran regional administration calls on the Artsakh Armenians who took refuge in Armenia during the war to return to their homeland after the housing problems are resolved, following the instructions of the regional authorities.
Nearly 550 families – 2,500 residents – have lost their homes and settlements.
