Mher Mkrtchyan: Nikol Pashinyan is a threat
Armenian film director Mher Mkrtchyan has joined the rally at Liberty square, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Pashinyan. Addressing the participants, Mkrtchyan expressed surprise that after all the revelations about the war in Karabakh and the treachery by the authorities, people were protesting only at Liberty square. The film director drew parallels with the protests aganst bus fare rise back in 2013, when citizens took to streets throughout the capital city.
"This is not a political affair for me as I am not in it. This is a matter of dignity. Regardless of the number of participants joining this rally, I will come to the Liberty square every time to not be ashamed of my surname," said the director. adding: "I am quite sincere to state that Nikol Pashinyan is a threat. He is a threat to our country, for our statehood, and the future of our children. He must definitely go."
Mkrtchyan stressed that due to Pashinyan, the Armenian public is now divided and nurtured by hatred which can lead to nowhere in terms of further development and victories.
