Police searching Qaryak Media co-founder’s house
Police officers are searching the house of Mihran Hakobyan, a co-founder of Qaryak (Quartet) Media, political analyst Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.
“What a shame and disgrace! Those people don’t give a shit about the circumstances outlined in the court sanction. It specifies, for instance, who of the investigators can conduct the raid, but there are completely different people on the scene,” he wrote.
“The court ruling also makes it clear what should be searched (evidence of organizing a demonstration), but the police are confiscating the weapons legally owned by Mihran Hakobyan.
"In short, the law enforcement authorities serving Nikol [Pashinyan] work the way he does. The country continues to fall into an abyss," Melik-Shahnazaryan said.
