Georgia adds 3,071 new COVID-19 cases
Georgia reported 3,071 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing its total to 114,889, Xinhua said, citing the country's National Center for Disease Control and Public Health.
A total of 1,314 of the 3,071 new cases were confirmed in the capital city of Tbilisi, the center said.
As of Wednesday, 95,581 of the 114,889 patients have recovered, while 1,085 others have died, it said.
Meanwhile, 3,646 more coronavirus infections were recorded in Azerbaijan in the past 24 hours.
The overall number of coronavirus cases in the country has reached 98,927 with 65,734 recoveries and 1,194 deaths.
