Karen Bekaryan, Ara Saghatelyan invited to Special Investigation Committee
Former lawmaker, politician Karen Bekaryan and former Chief of Staff of Armenia's National Assembly Ara Saghatelyan have been invited to the Special Investigation Committee (SIC). As Bekaryan told reporters outside the SIC, no reason for the invitation have been communicated to them.
To remind, Saghatelyan, along with other public figures and citizens, were taken to police station days ago over alleged violation of the restrictions during the regime of the martial law as they held public rallies in Yerevan. They demanded the resignation of PM Nikol Pashinyan for signing what they call 'a treacherous document surrendering Artsakh territories to Azerbaijan.'
