Armenia's NAS presidency demands Pashinyan's resignation
The presidency of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, the country's top scientific institution, has adopted a statement, calling for the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his cabinet of ministers. The statement was issued in the session held on November 24 and was devoted to the recent war and its outcome in Nagorno-Karabakh.
'We assess the November 9 statement signed by Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia as a humiliating document for the Armenian people, according to which, the Republic of Artsakh suffers major territorial losses, serious restrictions to realise its sovereignty, while a severe moral-psychological atmosphere is formed in the two Armenian republics and Diaspora,' reads the statement in part.
"In the occured situation, we deem the further work of the RA Government inefficient and demand the resignation of the Government led by the Prime Minister," the statement reads.
