Artur Vanetsyan: Pashinyan's resignation will soon come to reality
The leader of Homeland party Artur Vanetsyan has commented on the upcoming actions of the opposition forces, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. In an interview with Sputnik Armenia, Vanetsyan has also spoken about the position of the opposition on the trilateral statement signed on November 9.
"A complete consensus has been established among the public that Nikol Pashinyan has no political and moral right to hold the post of the Prime Minister and should immediately leave," Vanetsyan said, dismissing the opinion that the mass rallies organised by opposition give little results.
"Since the start of the war, all steps by Pashinyan were aimed at maintaining his power. Believe me, his resignation will turn to reality within a short period of time. Every day and second of his holding the office is a serious threat to the Republic of Armenia," said the opposition leader, adding the issue of resignation will be ultimately solved through parliament and that the MPs of the ruling fraction have already made the respective decision.
