Parents of the soldiers serving in Artsakh issued an ultimatum to Pashinyan
The parents of the soldiers serving in Artsakh are protesting outside the government building on Saturday in Yerevan. Their main demand is to return their sons to Armenia.
The parents formulated their demand in a statement, that asked the government and Pm Pashinyan to address the people on Public TV Channel and provide a clear action plan and timeframe for bringing the servicemen of RA citizenship to Armenia. The parents also raised questions whether the government plans to substitute the servicemen with contract soldiers within a period of 10 days and in what period the government can ensure basic hygiene and sanitary norms are in place for servicemen on military service in Artsakh.
"We ask and demand to respond to these questions publicly within two days. Otherwise, we will have no way but to take drastic steps which are not in the interest of our country at the moment," the statement signed by a group of parents read.
