New economy minister: I have always believed in Nikol Pashinyan
"I have accepted the offer because I want to serve my nation," newly appointed Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan told reporters in the parliament on Monday.
He comments came in response to a reporter’s observation that he had expressed dissatisfaction with the spread of "fake" news about the army's combat readiness, including by the premier himself, before being named as the new minister.
Asked whether he believes in Nikol Pashinyan now, Vahan Kerobyan said: "I have always believed in him."
To another question whether he has no other concerns over the army now, the newly appointed minister of economy stated: "I have major concerns about the army, that's why I am here to develop the economy and the army."
