Police use force to detain protesters demanding Pashinyan's resignation
Police officers continue detaining citizens who are holding civil disobedience protests and demand the resignation of PM Nikol Pashinyan.The police forces interfered when a group of demonstrators was heading to the government building with chants "Nikol is a traitor."
Earlier, the citizens blocked the Mashtots Avenue, calling on passers-by to join their action. The police used force to clear the avenue. Videos and images from the scene suggest reporters and cameramen are among detainees. One of the reporters asked the Deputy Chief of Police Artur Khudinyan about reasons to detain reporters to which the latter said: "It happens."
