Vazgen Manukyan, opposition leaders arrive at Liberty Square for a nation-wide rally
The national-wide rally has kicked off at Liberty Square in Yerevan which is organised by the National Salvation Front, comprised of 17 political parties, intellectuals, non-governmental organizations, war veterans and active citizens. It is expected that Vazgen Manukyan, the opposition forces' candidate for the PM's post will present anti-crisis measures during the rally. Leaders of other political parties have arrived at the Liberty square as well. The main demand of the opposition is Pashinyan's resignation and formation of a provisional government.
Member of ARF Dashnaksutyun Gegham Manukyan informed that the leader of Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) has been invited for interrogation and will not be able to attend the rally.
The public gathered at the square chant "Nikol, you are a traitor." Manukyan suggested another slogan for the rally "Armenia without Nikol."
