Besides the coronavirus, we now face nikolavirus - Vigen Stepanyan
"I have been in the square since the beginning of Karabakh movement but for the first time I address the public from this stage. Can we imagine a graver situation than this? Representatives of intelligentsia are not silent. We have always been voicing our concerns yet have not always been heard," Honored Art Worker of Armenia, actor, director Vigen Stepanyan stated at Liberty square during the rally of the Salvation Front for Motherland.
"What our country is facing today was unimaginable even in our worst nightmares - the loss of half of Artsakh, thousands of victims, missing people, mothers who have lost their sons. How should we continue to live? Besides the coronavirus, we are now facing nikolavirus, and we should get rid of it immediately," Stepanyan said, stressing the need for Nikol Pashinyan to resign.
In the words of the actor, divisions in the public may lead the country to a deadlock, and it is necessary to listen and respect to each other, gather our strength to overcome the situation.
"Let us do everything to bring the hope, justice and dignity back to Armenia. Only then we will be respected at international platforms," Stepanyan said.
