Armenia reports 1,138 new COVID-19 cases, 25 deaths on December 9
Armenia has confirmed 1,138 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 144,066 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 9, the Ministry of Health reports.
1,385 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 120,532.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 21 to 2,393. 4 patients carrying the virus died from other causes in the past 24 hours.
The number of active cases is 20,540. As many as 535,833 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
