Tigran Abrahamyan to authorities: You have no option but to step down
Armenian political scientist Tigran Abrahamyan, who heads the Henaket Analytical Center, took to Facebook on Thursday to react to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s statement at a military parade in Baku.
According to him, Aliyev’s claims that “Yerevan, Zangezur and Sevan are historical Azerbaijani lands” are nothing new.
“It was addressed to all those who believe that Artsakh is a burden and our problems are exclusively related to Artsakh.
“We should prepare for the next war; it’s hard to say whether it will happen in 1, 2 or 10 years.
“But there is a subtlety. We will succeed when we start a new process of rebuilding and ensuring our security from now on.
“But as far as I can see, the Armenian authorities are doing quite the opposite, depriving us of all opportunities to defend ourselves and fight effectively.
“You are left with no option but to step down,” he wrote.
