Some roads in Armenia partly covered with clear ice
Some roads in Armenia are closed or difficult to pass as of Thursday evening, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
The roadways leading to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari of Aragatsotn Province are difficult to pass.
Vardenyats Pass is open to all traffic.
Roads in Lori and Syunik Provinces, the towns of Talin, Aparan and Aragats of Aragatsotn Province, as well as Artik-Alagyaz highway of Shirak Province are partly covered with clear ice.
Fog has descended on Ashtarak town (Aragatsotn Province), the second largest city of Gyumri (Shirak Province), Abovyan, Charentsavan towns (Kotayk Province) and Goris-Kapan highway (Syunik Province).
