825 refugees return to their homes in Artsakh in one day
Russian peacekeepers escorted another convoy of buses with refugees to Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) from the territory of Armenia on Sunday, December 13, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
"825 people were delivered from Yerevan to Stepanakert by buses. The movement of the column was escorted by patrols of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and military police," the source said. Russian peacekeepers monitor the situation round-the-clock and observe the ceasefire regime from the 23 observation posts deployed in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Russian military personnel ensures the safety of the citizens returning to their homes in Stepanakert, offer humanitarian aid and restore the civil infrastructure.
