'March of dignity' for Pashinyan’s resignation kicks off in Yerevan
A “march of dignity” to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has just kicked off in Yerevan, Armenia.
The march commenced at Vahagn Davtyan Park in the Arabkir district in Yerevan.
Demonstrators next marched down Komitas Avenue, chanting “Nikol the traitor!”, “Nikol, leave!” and “Armenia without Nikol!”.
Opposition ARF member Ishkhan Saghatelyan urged all people to join the march.
"Today we have to prove with this march that Nikol no longer enjoys popular support. Nikol, leave, Nikol, traitor!" he announced on the loudspeaker.
Saghatelyan called for a complete disruption of the work of state structures in an effort to remove Nikol Pashinyan from office.
