Opposition figure calls for unity amid efforts of Turkey, Azerbaijan to ‘tear Armenia apart’
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his team brought Armenia to destruction, handing over 25 percent of the country’s territories, with more than 5,000 killed and 10,000 left disabled by the war in Artsakh, opposition ARF member Artsvik Minasyan said at a “march of dignity” organized by the Homeland Salvation Movement in Yerevan on Monday.
"Even now he seeks to keep his grip on power and is ready to make more concessions. Every single day and moment brings new losses to our country and people," Minasyan said.
The opposition figure urged Diaspora Armenians to join the movement and build the “Armenia of our dreams.”
"Dear Diaspora Armenians, after standing up with full determination to save the homeland just a month ago, you are also betrayed today, because the Armenian government reached a disgraceful agreement, giving up the Armenian statehood and the cherished dreams of the Armenian people,” he said.
"We must unite, because Turks and Azerbaijanis are trying to tear Armenia apart. If you do not join [the struggle], there will be no Armenia tomorrow," he said.
