Former PM Karen Karapetyan hopes Pashinyan will make the right decision to leave
Armenia's former Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan believes Armenia and Artsakh are in a deep moral, psychological, political, economic, and social crisis.
"I think the government, as a result of actions and during the tenure of which the crisis came, will strictly limit the prospects for the country development and possibility to use the potential and capabilities of the nation if it remains in power," Karapetyan said in a statement, released on Tuesday.
In the words of the former PM, every day of the ongoing crisis damages the people and the country, given also Azerbaijan's continuous and aggressive policy and the challenges ahead of Armenia.
"This critical moment is the most important test for authorities to show whether they are able to transcend the narrow political interests, be conscientious to allow the country get peace, the political forces to reassess their past and form new vision for the future, and the people - an opportunity to choose authorities in a calm atmosphere," Karapetyan said.
