Young activists protest outside government to demand Pashinyan's resignation
A group of young activists demanding the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday staged a protest outside the government building.
They again accused the premier of committing treason and “selling” the Artsakh territories to Azerbaijan.
“Nikol Pashinyan, for you there is nothing sacred. You don’t care about your homeland, only your interests matter to you,” said one of the protesters.
Subsequently, the activists started chanting "Armenia without Nikol”.
The demonstrators urged police officers on duty to join their fight, adding they are protecting “the wrong person”.
“Nikol Pashinyan betrayed not only us and you, but also the entire Armenian people. He must not enter any state structure office. His political team has no right to be paid a salary in Armenia. Nikol Pashinyan is tearing our country apart, turning citizens against each other. We demand the resignation of traitor Nikol and his Sorosist political team,” a protester said, followed by the chant “Nikol the traitor”.
"Nikol Pashinyan, you sold the fate of our soldiers, after that you have no place in our country,” another activist said, stating the authorities that capitulated to Azerbaijan must step down.
