Armenia’s COVID-19 cases surpass 150,000 on December 16
Armenia has confirmed 1,098 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 150,218 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 16, the Ministry of Health reports.
1,242 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 128,694.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 27 to 2,556. 11 patients carrying the virus died from other causes in the past 24 hours.
The number of active cases is 18,331. As many as 554,909 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
